Right call. A player with Serena's experience should have waited a little bit more. I am not a huge fan of her, neither I believe in conspiracies. However, I do have a feeling that Serena has never had a too favorable umpiring at USO throughout the years. Of course her attitude, tantrums did not help, but for sure she never had any favoritism in her country.

Uhm, the people in this comments section, you do know that Eva has been a problematic umpire for men's AND women's tennis for a long time, and she seems to always target the Williams sisters EVERYTIME only difference is because Serena is more passionate and short tempered, it seems like she has bad behavior, but Venus has had many problems with her and is just not as vocal about it.
